"Learning from Europe" – Good Practice Model: Denmark?


# Twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 am

Jointly, we will have a closer look into Denmark's film industry and links between _fair working conditions, gender equality_ and _high quality film production_.

Special attention will be paid to the _40-hours-week_ and the Danish _collective agreement_ on fiction film productions. Moreover, an exchange of experiences regarding _union organisation_ and _measures against sexism_ in front of and behind the camera, as well as the _compatibility of work and family life_ will be equally important.

Søren Henrik Jørgensen will present the work of Producentforeningen (Danish Producers’ Association) and the Danish producing landscape. In his elaboration on the working conditions from the producers’ perspective he especially has a take on independent producers.
